The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nechifor Ignătescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Iacob's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. When Secaturi's Octavian Iacob in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Braila's goalie prevented a goal. Secaturi's Evaristo Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, CF Braila's Nechifor Ignătescu got control of the ball when Evaristo Eyague tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CF Braila's zone, Evaristo Eyague stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Ignătescu came out of the goal and Evaristo Eyague tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nechifor Ignătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Iacob in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, George Apostolescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Eyague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nechifor Ignătescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavian Iacob might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Ignătescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavian Iacob ran back to his position shaking his head. Nechifor Ignătescu was a little too slow when Octavian Iacob got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, CF Braila's Felix Petriceanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Evaristo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavian Iacob struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nechifor Ignătescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Secaturi. 29 minutes into the match, Evaristo Eyague notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CF Braila's Nechifor Ignătescu. Nechifor Ignătescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. George Apostolescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 孔川宁. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Apostolescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Evaristo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavian Iacob was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Secaturi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Octavian Iacob who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Braila's Nechifor Ignătescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George Apostolescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Secaturi's Octavian Iacob in the 40th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nechifor Ignătescu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CF Braila through an amazing save. In the 42nd minute Octavian Iacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Ignătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavian Iacob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nechifor Ignătescu. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Octavian Iacob made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Octavian Iacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Ignătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Eyague might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Ignătescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Evaristo Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Iacob in the 73rd minute of play forced CF Braila's goalkeeper Nechifor Ignătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Iacob in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Ignătescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CF Braila's Nechifor Ignătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Eyague in the 77th minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Octavian Iacob elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nechifor Ignătescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Eyague in the 83rd minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Evaristo Eyague who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Braila's Nechifor Ignătescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Evaristo Eyague made a precise shot to the right of Nechifor Ignătescu. CF Braila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Secaturi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
