Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) In the 5th minute Nechifor Molodețiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Curuțiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicu Bogătan during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to milan cs getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nicu Bogătan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, milan cs's Ion Moldovan got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eliodor Curuțiu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eduard Cudalb. Nechifor Molodețiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliodor Curuțiu having to make a save. When Nechifor Molodețiu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Lazu -Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Molodețiu couldn't finish the play. Nechifor Molodețiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Chilian got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eliodor Curuțiu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gheorghe Vişoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Petre Bara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Moldovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Bara having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Gheorghe Vişoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The milan cs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nechifor Molodețiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Chilian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eliodor Curuțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Moldovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gheorghe Vişoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Bara having to interfere. FC Lazu -Stiinta-'s Eduard Cudalb couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for milan cs. When Nicu Bogătan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Lazu -Stiinta- booed when milan cs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Bogătan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Cudalb shot a long shot in the 74th minute and a light blocked Eliodor Curuțiu hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. Ion Moldovan scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Bara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliodor Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Chilian in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Albert Chilian managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lazu -Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Chilian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Curuțiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliodor Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Chilian in the 90th minute of play. If Nechifor Molodețiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched milan cs eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
