Sergiu Botgros succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Alexandru Sabău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dorel Poenaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind MVB Buzau's goalkeeper Damian Iacobescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergiu Botgros took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Iacobescu. Dorel Poenaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Enigărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. MVB Buzau's Ionel Cârneci pulled a muscle in his leg after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Liviu Ştefănică fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SCORPIONII's protests and gave Liviu Ştefănică a yellow card for diving instead.
