Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) FC Brink's Gheorghe Herea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gheorghe Herea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Iacobescu having to make a save. In the 4th minute, Aurel Tiberiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Herea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damian Iacobescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gheorghe Herea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Iacobescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Aurel Tiberiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MVB Buzau and the FC Brink players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, MVB Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Tiberiu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Răzvan Mumuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brink's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Mumuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Iacobescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Waldemar Mule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, FC Brink's Răzvan Mumuleanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Iacobescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Răzvan Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Damian Iacobescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Herea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Iacobescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Damian Iacobescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Ionel Cârneci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Herea took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Iacobescu. Damian Iacobescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Petrică Ţeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Waldemar Mule made a precise shot to the right of Damian Iacobescu. MVB Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Waldemar Mule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damian Iacobescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Iacobescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Herea's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Herea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Damian Iacobescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MVB Buzau's Damian Iacobescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Mumuleanu in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to MVB Buzau getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aurel Tiberiu hit a great ball. When Răzvan Mumuleanu came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Brink fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Mumuleanu couldn't finish the play. Gheorghe Herea took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Iacobescu. Damian Iacobescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Brink's Răzvan Mumuleanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Iacobescu. That made the score 0-7 after 64 minutes of play. Răzvan Mumuleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Iacobescu having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Gheorghe Herea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Iacobescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Ion Prislop kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gheorghe Herea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, FC Brink's Răzvan Mumuleanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Iacobescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of MVB Buzau booed when FC Brink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Balint didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Herea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Damian Iacobescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Gheorghe Herea made a precise shot to the right of Damian Iacobescu. MVB Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. When Alexandru Sabău fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MVB Buzau's protests and gave Alexandru Sabău a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghe Herea could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Damian Iacobescu however easily saved by the left post. Damian Iacobescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded FC Brink left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MVB Buzau.
