Mihăiţă Dinulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Andriescu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cobweb defense, Florin Leucuța kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toader Andriescu. The Cobweb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toader Andriescu should have stopped the shot. Pavel Toader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Toader Andriescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Mugur Poplăcean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes, Cobweb's Răzvan Patriciu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Tăbăcaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cobweb reached it. After 15 minutes, Mugur Poplăcean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Ramnicu Valcea and the Cobweb players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugur Poplăcean kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Filip Găman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. George Tăbăcaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Găman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. 28 minutes into the match, CF Ramnicu Valcea's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Tremurici came free, but George Tăbăcaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cobweb's zone, Florin Leucuța stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Andriescu came out of the goal and Florin Leucuța tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Mugur Poplăcean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Andriescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Pompiliu Todericiu made a precise shot to the right of George Tăbăcaru. CF Ramnicu Valcea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mihăiţă Dinulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ernest Tremurici fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of George Tăbăcaru, passed just outside the right post. Pompiliu Todericiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. George Tăbăcaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolae Ghimiș took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Tăbăcaru. George Tăbăcaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. George Tăbăcaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Tremurici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cobweb booed when CF Ramnicu Valcea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Toader didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Ernest Tremurici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Tăbăcaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
