Toader Andriescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Antipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Tarsa's Aurelian Dedu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cobweb's Toader Andriescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Paulică in the 16th minute of play. If Bogdan Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Cobweb's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Paulică came free, but Toader Andriescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Andriescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Antipa in the 28th minute. Toader Andriescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Paulică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Antipa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Andriescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tarsa's Mădălin Buteanu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Răzvan Patriciu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes Tarsa got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Horia. In the 36th minute, Vlad Vochin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Nicolae Ghimiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damian Pătrășconiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernest Tremurici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Pătrășconiu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Ghimiș got free with Damian Pătrășconiu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernest Tremurici's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Pătrășconiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pompiliu Todericiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Pătrășconiu. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Mihăiţă Șofran hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Vlad Vochin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Pătrășconiu. Tarsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vlad Vochin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, Cobweb's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Antipa came free, but Toader Andriescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobweb's Filip Găman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Pătrășconiu. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Bogdan Antipa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobweb's Toader Andriescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ernest Paulică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tarsa's Damian Pătrășconiu got control of the ball when Vlad Vochin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Pătrășconiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Tremurici in the 80th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Ernest Tremurici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobweb and the Tarsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Cobweb got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Tremurici. Nicolae Ghimiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Damian Pătrășconiu made a huge save. Toader Andriescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Paulică in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Bogdan Antipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Andriescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cobweb supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cobweb would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
