Costică Mihădaș might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Iacobescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costică Mihădaș ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to MVB Buzau getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ionel Cârneci hit a great ball. MVB Buzau's Damian Iacobescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Mihădaș in the 25th minute of play. Cosmin Liviu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When MVB Buzau's Emilian Enigărescu, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MVB Buzau. Cosmin Liviu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Damian Iacobescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Mihădaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

MVB Buzau's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Costică Mihădaș 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Costel Abutnăriței didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. Bobocea CS's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 65th minute Costică Mihădaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Iacobescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Abutnăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costel Abutnăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Damian Iacobescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
