Alexandri's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Zubaşcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Rădescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gelu Zubaşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Mircea Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Zubaşcu in the 67th minute of play forced Cocioc SC's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cocioc SC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicolae Hudiță hit a great ball. Sergiu Rădescu made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mircea Buricea sent off a good shot on target. Alexandri's Mircea Buricea got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cocioc SC's Sergiu Rădescu got control of the ball when Mircea Buricea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mircea Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Rădescu having to interfere. Isac Albu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Alexandri booed when Cocioc SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Hudiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergiu Rădescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manuel Spirea. 94 minutes into the match, Cocioc SC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Berechet came free, but Sergiu Rădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Alexandri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cocioc SC.
