Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristian Mahonea got the match started through his kick off. Draghiceanu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Zăvoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Flamanzesti got a freekick which was hit by Călin Mudura. Cosmin Homeag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Coidum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmin Homeag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Coidum in the 27th minute of play. Alexandru Ogică hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pompiliu Cângea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Mahonea in the 31st minute. Pompiliu Cângea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Mahonea's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. With his leg Pompiliu Cângea managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Draghiceanu's Cristian Mahonea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iustinian Tender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pompiliu Cângea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Cristian Mahonea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustinian Tender struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Pompiliu Cângea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Draghiceanu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandru Ogică made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Mahonea in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Cângea saved Flamanzesti from getting behind. Pompiliu Cângea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Zota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Draghiceanu booed when Flamanzesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Abrudan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Cristian Mahonea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Cângea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ioan Văcărescu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Mahonea in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Cângea saved Flamanzesti from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Draghiceanu fully deserved thier win.
