The referee ignored Comanacu's protests and gave Sandu Sârbu a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucian Honcioiu was the one to do the kick off. Lucian Honcioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Cocioc SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Costescu to maneuver through the defense. When Sandu Sârbu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Sandu Sârbu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Nicolae Hudiță came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cocioc SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Hudiță couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Arnăuțescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebiu Otopeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Arnăuțescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Arnăuțescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Honcioiu charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Honcioiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurel Sitaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusebiu Otopeanu. Comanacu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eusebiu Otopeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Arnăuțescu in the 94th minute of play.
