Gabriel Aursulesei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Micescu in the 95th minute of play. Cristian Vintilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Zogreanu having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moş Gerilă had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
