Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciprian Ştefănoiu started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gernet's David Focșa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gernet's Emanuel Vârnav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Hudiță in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, FC CJArena's Ciprian Ştefănoiu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Vârnav was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gigi Traianescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliodor Giuverdea came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigi Traianescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. Mihail Postelnicu succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Mihail Postelnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Gernet's Gigi Traianescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliodor Giuverdea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ciprian Ştefănoiu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC CJArena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Ştefănoiu couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, FC CJArena's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Postelnicu came free, but Eliodor Giuverdea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigi Traianescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Gigi Traianescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliodor Giuverdea. FC CJArena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Traianescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mihail Postelnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gernet's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Postelnicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Giuverdea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigi Traianescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eliodor Giuverdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihail Postelnicu made a kick off. Mihail Postelnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Giuverdea having to interfere. After 53 played minutes FC CJArena got a freekick which was hit by Matei Jupâneanu. Mihail Postelnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eliodor Giuverdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC CJArena's Ciprian Ştefănoiu in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gernet's goalie prevented a goal. If Gigi Traianescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Mihail Postelnicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes FC CJArena got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Hălmăgeanu. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gigi Traianescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gernet's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Traianescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 89th minute Gigi Traianescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Giuverdea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Postelnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Giuverdea having to interfere. Eliodor Giuverdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Postelnicu in the 94th minute of play. Eliodor Ghimiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Emanuel Vârnav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gernet players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
