Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihail Postelnicu made the kick off which started today's match. Gernet's Gigi Traianescu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigi Traianescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Zubaşcu having to interfere. Mihail Postelnicu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Mihnea Zubaşcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gernet. If Gigi Traianescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mihail Postelnicu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mihnea Zubaşcu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mihail Postelnicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mihnea Zubaşcu made a huge save. Gigi Traianescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mihnea Zubaşcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gică Chițac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigi Traianescu in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihnea Zubaşcu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mihail Postelnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mihnea Zubaşcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CatusBelicus's zone, Mihail Postelnicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Zubaşcu came out of the goal and Mihail Postelnicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes, Irinel Caragea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gernet and the CatusBelicus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Gernet got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Caragea. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilian Ştiopul to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mihail Postelnicu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CatusBelicus's Mihnea Zubaşcu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Șerban Balaeț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gigi Traianescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernet's Mihail Postelnicu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Gigi Traianescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CatusBelicus's Mihnea Zubaşcu. Mihnea Zubaşcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gică Chițac managed to get in a good position for a shot. CatusBelicus's supporters rose to their feet, but Gică Chițac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Vârnav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihnea Zubaşcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Traianescu in the 67th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mihail Postelnicu sped through CatusBelicus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Zubaşcu. In the 73rd match minute, Gernet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Balaeț to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Mihail Postelnicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Zubaşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mihail Postelnicu sped through CatusBelicus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Zubaşcu. Marcu Niculescu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Gigi Traianescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihail Postelnicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihnea Zubaşcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Gigi Traianescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Zubaşcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Postelnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the CatusBelicus defense, Gigi Traianescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihnea Zubaşcu. The CatusBelicus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihnea Zubaşcu should have stopped the shot. Gigi Traianescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mihnea Zubaşcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gernet fully deserved thier win.
