Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mihail Postelnicu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Isac Tăgorean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Postelnicu in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gernet's zone, Narcis Milcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Vârnav came out of the goal and Narcis Milcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigi Traianescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Isac Tăgorean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Tăgorean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Traianescu in the 21st minute of play. Cs Luco's Sorin Lupșoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cs Luco's Isac Tăgorean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Traianescu in the 25th minute of play. Isac Tăgorean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Balaeț in the 26th minute of the match. Silviu Cobzeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Vârnav having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Milcu got free with Emanuel Vârnav in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Tăgorean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Postelnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Cs Luco getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Andrei Molodețiu hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cs Luco's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Ţopescu came free, but Isac Tăgorean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narcis Milcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Horea Glăvan charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Glăvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gernet getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Horea Glăvan hit a great ball. Isac Tăgorean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horea Glăvan in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute of the match David Focșa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isac Tăgorean showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Ionel Milea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Postelnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gigi Traianescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Sorin Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Vârnav came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cs Luco's Narcis Milcu. But to his dismay, Narcis Milcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Isac Tăgorean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Traianescu in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Horea Glăvan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gernet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Silviu Cobzeanu came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cs Luco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silviu Cobzeanu couldn't finish the play. Isac Tăgorean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Glăvan in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, David Focșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Gernet's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Druga came free, but Emanuel Vârnav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Narcis Milcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cs Luco's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Milcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Vârnav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sorin Lupșoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Narcis Milcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cs Luco's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Milcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Vârnav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narcis Milcu in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Vârnav prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Narcis Milcu in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Sorin Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narcis Milcu in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Vârnav prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despite being the better team, Cs Luco failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
