Petrică Albeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Petrică Albeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Tărâţă's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Doru Lovinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Nicodim Preda managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Fc Dede's Felix Mihaiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felix Mihaiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Preda was a little too slow when Dorel Tonegaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. Dorel Tonegaru struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nicodim Preda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Dede. Dorel Tonegaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Tonegaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nicodim Preda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Potingani FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Floroiu to maneuver through the defense. Felix Mihaiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Nicodim Preda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 42 minutes into the game, David Hațegan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Dede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potingani FCM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fc Dede's David Hațegan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Doru Lovinescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Dede's Petrică Albeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Fc Dede's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Floroiu came free, but Petrică Albeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Dorel Tonegaru made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Felix Mihaiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Dede's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Mihaiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Preda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicodim Preda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorel Tonegaru's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Dorel Tonegaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Preda having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Tărâţă in the 64th minute of play forced Fc Dede's goalkeeper Petrică Albeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Dede's Dan Bărcăuan got a free kick in the 65th minute. Felix Mihaiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nicodim Preda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Tărâţă might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petrică Albeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustin Tărâţă ran back to his position shaking his head. Potingani FCM's Nechifor Encescu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Dorel Tonegaru notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Potingani FCM's Nicodim Preda. Nicodim Preda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Potingani FCM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Dede.
