Spectators: 6878 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Cristian Şantău made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Fc Dede got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Stolniciu. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, David Hațegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Dede's supporters rose to their feet, but David Hațegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Calciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Mihaiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Adam Calciu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Olesti's Iustin Diaconescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Fc Dede's Vasile Răduțu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olesti. With an all-out effort, Fc Dede's Adam Calciu threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Bărcăuan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Olesti booed when Fc Dede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Bărcăuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Dede's Dan Bărcăuan got a free kick in the 29th minute. Adam Calciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Tonegaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Felix Mihaiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Adam Calciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Stolniciu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Emanuel Vulcănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorel Tonegaru was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Vulcănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Petrică Albeanu made a huge save. After 54 played minutes Fc Dede got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Oproiu. Cristian Şantău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Albeanu having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Dorel Tonegaru made a precise shot to the right of Adam Calciu. Olesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Adam Calciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mihaiu in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Emanuel Vulcănescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Iustin Diaconescu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fc Dede's Vasile Răduțu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olesti. Felix Mihaiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adam Calciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Calciu came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Dede's Felix Mihaiu. But to his dismay, Felix Mihaiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Fc Dede's Petrică Albeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Dede from getting a goal against them. Petrică Albeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Şantău in the 91st minute of play. Cristian Şantău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrică Albeanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 98th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Olesti's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
