The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicodim Preda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Hojbota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Doru Lovinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustin Tărâţă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ferdinand Trifan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Traian Hojbota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Potingani FCM got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Frențiu. Constantin Calomfirescu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nicodim Preda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FlyHighhh A.C.F.. Ferdinand Trifan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Doru Lovinescu sent off a good shot on target. Constantin Calomfirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potingani FCM's Nicodim Preda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hojbota in the 27th minute of play. FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s Constantin Calomfirescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Vasile Brășneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doru Lovinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iustin Tărâţă spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s goal. If Doru Lovinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Tărâţă made a kick off. Ferdinand Trifan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Tărâţă in the 53rd minute of the match. Nicodim Preda made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Traian Hojbota sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Constantin Calomfirescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Calomfirescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Preda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Potingani FCM's goalkeeper Nicodim Preda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Hojbota. In the 73rd minute, Doru Lovinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustin Tărâţă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustin Tărâţă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Doru Lovinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potingani FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Lovinescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Trifan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Constantin Calomfirescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Calomfirescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Potingani FCM's goalkeeper Nicodim Preda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Hojbota. Valeriu Fințescu's late challenge caught a FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Fințescu helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Nicodim Preda, was totally fooled by FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s Cătălin Proca, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Potingani FCM's Nicodim Preda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Potingani FCM from getting a goal against them.
