Pompiliu Cârțan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leontin Giuverdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Mandache in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pompiliu Cârțan to strike the kick off in the second half. If Emil Mandache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Giuverdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Văcaru in the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandu Ştefănică in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leontin Giuverdea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Dinamo's Dacian Văcaru got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Bocaneț. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Bocaneț got free with Ovidiu Berca in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Dinamo's Ovidiu Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Cârțan in the 69th minute of play. Ovidiu Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Cârțan in the 71st minute of the match. Edgar Bocaneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionuț Avădanei hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
