In the 29th minute, one of Borussia Dortmund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borussia Dortmund. The referee gave Dracsani a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emil Matei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Eugen Răduțu. 0-1. Dracsani's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eugen Răduțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Tatulici in the 99th minute of play. The Dracsani players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
