After having played for 9 minutes, Edgar Bocaneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Bocaneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompiliu Cârțan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Bocaneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Tudor having to interfere. Leontin Giuverdea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dinu Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Cârțan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Giuverdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Focșa in the 39th minute of the match. When Iosif Focșa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the UFC Nistru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Focșa couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Ciprian Elefteriu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Nistru the free kick. Remus Ostoici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of UFC Nistru booed when ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Hogaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Istrăteanu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 50 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Leontin Giuverdea right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iosif Focșa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ostoici in the 54th minute of play forced ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s goalkeeper Leontin Giuverdea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Pompiliu Cârțan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Remus Ostoici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Nistru and the ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remus Ostoici hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Pompiliu Cârțan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Remus Ostoici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leontin Giuverdea. ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Ostoici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Focșa in the 72nd minute of play forced ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s goalkeeper Leontin Giuverdea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Focșa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Bocaneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dinu Tudor made a huge save. Remus Ostoici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leontin Giuverdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leontin Giuverdea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nițisor in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Emanuel Nițisor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Nistru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® the free kick. After a rather tough play, UFC Nistru's Emanuel Nițisor got a free kick in the 90th minute. ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s Edgar Bocaneț got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iosif Focșa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leontin Giuverdea having to make a save. UFC Nistru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
