Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emil Mandache started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Eusebiu Ionaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dinamo's Dacian Văcaru got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Mandache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iustin Frâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, poiana Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Alb to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to poiana Mare FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Iacob Gârneț hit a great ball. If Eusebiu Ionaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Silviu Petrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. poiana Mare FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Petrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Silviu Petrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovidiu Berca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebiu Ionaș went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Mandache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iustin Frâncu. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. Emil Mandache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Eusebiu Ionaș elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebiu Ionaș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dacian Văcaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Frâncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Văcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Silviu Petrean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ovidiu Berca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Petrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dacian Văcaru came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Dinamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Văcaru couldn't finish the play. Eusebiu Ionaș struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ovidiu Berca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for poiana Mare FC. After 75 minutes FC Dinamo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Costel Alb who took care of the corner kick. The corner led poiana Mare FC's Costel Alb to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidiu Berca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iustin Frâncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Văcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Bologan during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to poiana Mare FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Costel Alb hit a great ball. Emil Mandache took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustin Frâncu. Iustin Frâncu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Eusebiu Ionaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
