Ovidiu Berca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC Dinamo's Albert Miulescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Stelian Lera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ovidiu Berca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Lera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Berca made a huge save. FC Dinamo's Ovidiu Berca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dinamo from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelian Lera made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Iulian Vârnav shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iulian Vârnav had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Blăniță's late challenge caught a FC Dinamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Negulici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovidiu Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Lera in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Stelian Lera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
