Pompiliu Cârțan took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugen Răduțu. Eugen Răduțu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andrei Săvulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Leontin Giuverdea made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Papaiani to maneuver through the defense. Andrei Săvulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leontin Giuverdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mădălin Meleșcanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leontin Giuverdea. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Leontin Giuverdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Merișor in the 27th minute of the match. David Petrea kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Pompiliu Cârțan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leontin Giuverdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Merișor in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leontin Marinică who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Borussia Dortmund's Leontin Marinică to fire away a dangerous shot which Leontin Giuverdea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Merișor to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gavril Jdeica hit a great ball. Răzvan Bocaneț hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes, Leontin Marinică mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Edgar Bocaneț fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eugen Răduțu, passed just outside the right post. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆®'s goalkeeper Leontin Giuverdea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavril Jdeica hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Leontin Giuverdea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Merișor, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Leontin Giuverdea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Săvulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Dan Merișor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugen Răduțu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Bocaneț went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ®ØM∆Π¥∆Š₺∆® eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
