Vlad Purcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eugen Răduțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlad Purcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Răduțu having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Borussia Dortmund's Grigore Albescu threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Merișor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the match, Kemer UFC's goalkeeper Grigore Albescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrei Săvulescu. After 39 minutes, Martin Teofil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemer UFC and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Kemer UFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Teofil. Grigore Albescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Merișor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Grigore Albescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Merișor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Purcaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugen Răduțu having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 62ndth minute of the game Dan Merișor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kemer UFC's Grigore Albescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 71st minute of the match Martin Teofil completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martin Teofil a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd match minute, Kemer UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Teofil to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Săvulescu in the 73rd minute of play forced Kemer UFC's goalkeeper Grigore Albescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Merișor scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Albescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Negoescu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Borussia Dortmund's Leontin Marinică tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Kemer UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Ceaușu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andrei Săvulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Alucai was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
