The coaching staff of Borussia Dortmund protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Răzvan Bocaneț had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of Borussia Dortmund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borussia Dortmund. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, Eusebiu Ionaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugen Răduțu. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Răduțu should have stopped the shot. Mădălin Meleșcanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iustin Frâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrei Săvulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Borussia Dortmund's Eugen Răduțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Petrean in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. David Petrea hit a great ball. Andrei Săvulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Iustin Frâncu made a huge save. If Eusebiu Ionaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Ionaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eugen Răduțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Andrei Săvulescu made the kick off in the second half. Iustin Frâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Săvulescu in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Iacob Gârneț managed to get in a good position for a shot. poiana Mare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iacob Gârneț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Răduțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Eusebiu Ionaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugen Răduțu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Eugen Răduțu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Petrean. Silviu Petrean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Răduțu having to interfere. In the last second Eugen Răduțu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eusebiu Ionaș in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 74th minute, poiana Mare FC's Eusebiu Ionaș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugen Răduțu. Eugen Răduțu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. If Silviu Petrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in poiana Mare FC's zone, Andrei Săvulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Frâncu came out of the goal and Andrei Săvulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. poiana Mare FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
