Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manole Lupșoiu got the match started through his kick off. Pogon Szczecin's Cornel Gurgui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Hobjilă in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes Pogon Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Ecobescu. In the 8th minute, Emilian Negoescu made a precise shot to the right of Cornel Gurgui. Pogon Szczecin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Manole Lupșoiu lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Traian Feraru. In the 17th match minute, Pogon Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Lupșoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Ion Oanță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Costel Axinte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogon Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costel Axinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Hobjilă in the 23rd minute of play forced Pogon Szczecin's goalkeeper Cornel Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Haulisca AS's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Lupșoiu came free, but Traian Feraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Manole Lupșoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Traian Feraru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Traian Feraru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Lupșoiu's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Traian Feraru was a little too slow when Gabriel Ecobescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-1. A collision led to Pogon Szczecin getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gabriel Ecobescu hit a great ball. After 41 minutes, Mihai Hobjilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haulisca AS and the Pogon Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihai Hobjilă kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Manole Lupșoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nechifor Sfârlea's late challenge caught a Pogon Szczecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Sfârlea helped the player get up and apologised. Nechifor Sfârlea kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 50th minute, when Pogon Szczecin's Gabriel Ecobescu after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Traian Feraru in Haulisca AS's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilian Negoescu to make the kick off. Cornel Gurgui made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Mihai Hobjilă sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Haulisca AS's zone, Costel Axinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Traian Feraru came out of the goal and Costel Axinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Sebastian Hălmăgeanu fired a really elegant long shot, but Cornel Gurgui threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Negoescu in the 70th minute of play forced Pogon Szczecin's goalkeeper Cornel Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Costel Axinte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Traian Feraru was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 77 minutes, Manole Lupșoiu made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Haulisca AS's Traian Feraru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Haulisca AS's Gheorghe Ogică got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Costel Axinte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Traian Feraru. Haulisca AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costel Axinte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Emilian Negoescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cornel Gurgui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pogon Szczecin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
