After 16 played minutes YBB ARENA got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Manciulescu. Costel Axinte struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Petruț Tilea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogon Szczecin. Manole Lupșoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in YBB ARENA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! 36 minutes into the game, Edgar Oloieru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YBB ARENA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogon Szczecin the free kick. After a rather tough play, YBB ARENA's Edgar Oloieru got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Costel Axinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to YBB ARENA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dinu Manciulescu hit a great ball. Costel Axinte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Petruț Tilea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. YBB ARENA's Petruț Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Axinte in the 46th minute of play. If Manole Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Lupșoiu to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gabriel Ecobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornel Gurgui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Bornescu in the 58th minute of the match. Manole Lupșoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, YBB ARENA's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Axinte came free, but Petruț Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogon Szczecin's goalkeeper Cornel Gurgui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petruț Tilea made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Costel Axinte sent off a good shot on target. Petru Bornescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Gurgui having to interfere. Gabriel Ecobescu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Ecobescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pogon Szczecin getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gabriel Ecobescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pogon Szczecin's zone, Petru Bornescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Gurgui came out of the goal and Petru Bornescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Costel Axinte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costel Axinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in YBB ARENA's zone, Costel Axinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Tilea came out of the goal and Costel Axinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Oloieru took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Gurgui. Cornel Gurgui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Petru Bornescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Costel Axinte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pogon Szczecin played a much better game than YBB ARENA and deserved their victory. The YBB ARENA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
