Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basarab Agusoaei kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Sebastian Anisie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbosu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Bcr.'s zone, Sebastian Anisie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustinian Răuţă came out of the goal and Sebastian Anisie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Iulian Zdrenghea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Sebastian Anisie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Răuţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Zdrenghea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dinu Boștină charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Boștină the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Steaua Bcr. got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Boștină. A hard shot by Cazimir Miclauș from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Iustinian Răuţă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 23 minutes into the match, Steaua Bcr.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Anisie came free, but Iustinian Răuţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Damian hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Sebastian Anisie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costică Costea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Sebastian Anisie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Adrian Horațiu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iustinian Răuţă, passed just outside the right post. If Adrian Horațiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dacian Leu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbosu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Leu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Răuţă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Octav Glodeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Adrian Horațiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbosu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Horațiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Răuţă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Octav Glodeanu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Barbosu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Glodeanu couldn't finish the play. Adrian Horațiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iustinian Răuţă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Costea in the 52nd minute of play forced Steaua Bcr.'s goalkeeper Iustinian Răuţă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Dinu Boștină hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Anisie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Fabian Damian notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Steaua Bcr.'s Iustinian Răuţă. Iustinian Răuţă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octav Glodeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Iustinian Răuţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Glodeanu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustinian Răuţă saved Steaua Bcr. from getting behind. If Sebastian Anisie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Anisie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Iustinian Răuţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Costea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustinian Răuţă having to make a save. Octav Glodeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Iustinian Răuţă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Anisie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Horațiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Horațiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Răuţă having to interfere. Costică Costea struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Iustinian Răuţă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbosu FC. Iustinian Răuţă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
