Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Moisescu got free with Lucian Voinescu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Cozmâncă in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Țâpu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Cazimir Albescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Voinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, U.T.A.-S.U.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Trişcu to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Bata's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Turlea came free, but Tudor Țâpu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Voinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Albescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lucian Voinescu was a little too slow when Cazimir Albescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Mihail Aldulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Prunaru charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Prunaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vasile Moisescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Voinescu having to make a save. Bata's Vasile Moisescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Cozmâncăs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Tudor Țâpu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cazimir Albescu scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucian Voinescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Tudor Țâpu managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s Teodor Cozmâncă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mihail Aldulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s Lucian Voinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Moisescu in the 76th minute of play. Lucian Voinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Prunaru in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to U.T.A.-S.U.R. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luca Obregia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bata's Viorel Prunaru got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tudor Țâpu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodor Cozmâncă in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Cozmâncă in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Țâpu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bata fans cheered their team off the field, for while U.T.A.-S.U.R. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
