When FC Cojasca's Horia Buzescu in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ghergheleu CSS's goalie prevented a goal. George Andriescu charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 15th match minute, Ghergheleu CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Andriescu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Horia Buzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cojasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Buzescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Ştef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ghergheleu CSS's goalkeeper Dumitru Ştef, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 22 in the game by Horia Buzescu from a close distance when the talented Dumitru Ştef managed to make a qualified save. Ghergheleu CSS's players were relieved. Dumitru Ştef stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Buzescu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Horia Buzescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ghergheleu CSS's Dumitru Ştef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Buzescu in the 30th minute of play. If Mugurel Aplugăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Ştef stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Buzescu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Mugurel Aplugăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Ştef having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Horia Buzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dumitru Ştef made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Răzvan Minteuan during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 played minutes Ghergheleu CSS got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Minteuan. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Udrescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Horia Buzescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Ştef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Udrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Leonard Crăiniceanu in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Cojasca's Florin Calomfir. Mugurel Aplugăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes FC Cojasca got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Neaga. In the 75th minute Corneliu Udrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Cojasca's Horia Buzescu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ghergheleu CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Claudiu Cartianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dumitru Ştef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Cojasca's Horia Buzescu got a free kick in the 80th minute. Horia Buzescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Ştef having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Panaiteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Romeo Hălmăgeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 minutes of play, FC Cojasca's Horia Buzescu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Ştef was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Cojasca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
