Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Șerban Zdrobău kicked off to start the match. Bata's Tudor Țâpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Zdrobău in the 10th minute of play. Adrian Ardeleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Moisescu in the 12th minute of the match. Tudor Țâpu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Bata got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Diaconescu. After a defensive mix-up in Bata's zone, Șerban Zdrobău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Țâpu came out of the goal and Șerban Zdrobău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Ardeleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Albescu in the 21st minute of the match. After 21 played minutes matei fc got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Ciprian. Adrian Ardeleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Moisescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Vasile Moisescu scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Ardeleanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mădălin Cigu lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for matei fc! Adrian Ardeleanu had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Loghin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eugen Ciprian kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Tudor Țâpu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doru Roşca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Adrian Ardeleanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Albescu in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Albescu in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Ardeleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Albescu made a kick off. Viorel Banica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Țâpu having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, matei fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Oprea to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Teofil placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 85 minutes into the match, matei fc's goalkeeper Adrian Ardeleanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Moisescu. Vasile Moisescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Adrian Ardeleanu made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the matei fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
