Dinu Dedu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Sabin Siteavu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Teodor Cozmâncă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Hristea was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Turlea in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Hristea saved Steaua Bucarest from getting behind.
