Horia Buzescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Buta having to interfere. Denis Cezariu charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Cezariu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cursaru's Denis Cezariu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Octavian Buta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Buzescu in the 25th minute. Octavian Buta was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Mugurel Aplugăriței capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mugurel Aplugăriței really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Răzvan Chibulcutean hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. FC Cojasca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Nițisor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horia Buzescu to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Florin Calomfir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cojasca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Calomfir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claudiu Cartianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Horia Buzescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Buta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ştefan Neaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Horia Buzescu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cursaru's Octavian Buta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cursaru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cojasca the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cursaru's Nicu Floruțiu got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Horia Buzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Horia Buzescu notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cursaru's Octavian Buta. Octavian Buta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Cojasca had played much better football throughout.
