Vasile Bacalu hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Narcis Baldovinescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Șerban Basarabescu. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu got control of the ball when Mugur Corbuț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Bacalu in the 14th minute of play. Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus-Cj from getting a goal against them. In the 21st match minute, Juventus-Cj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Cumpan to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Mugur Corbuț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Negrilă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Șerban Basarabescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Corbuț, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Bacalu in the 54th minute of play. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, George Darabonț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 68th minute, one of Juventus-Cj:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus-Cj. Dan Guriță made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Narcis Baldovinescu however managed to control. Șerban Basarabescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Bacalu in the 77th minute of play. Vasile Bacalu scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Basarabescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Șerban Basarabescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Baldovinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
