George Sichitiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Harnagea's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 14 minutes into the match, VT Asycuda's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Dragoș came free, but George Sichitiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelian Fetea hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The VT Asycuda fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when VT Asycuda's Liviu Murărașu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Victor Harnagea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sustorog's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Harnagea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Sichitiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Halipa in the 25th minute of play forced VT Asycuda's goalkeeper George Sichitiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Harnagea in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Sichitiu saved VT Asycuda from getting behind. George Sichitiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Dragoș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in VT Asycuda's zone, Victor Harnagea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Sichitiu came out of the goal and Victor Harnagea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sustorog's Victor Harnagea in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VT Asycuda's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Florin Halipa sped through VT Asycuda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Sichitiu. George Sichitiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Dragoș in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Florin Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sustorog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Halipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matei Alexandroae to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ionel Dragoș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. George Sichitiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Sichitiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Harnagea in the 59th minute of the match. Florin Halipa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of George Sichitiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Victor Harnagea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Sichitiu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. George Sichitiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Harnagea in the 66th minute of play. Dorel Mustățea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Alexandroae, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Radu Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Săvoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VT Asycuda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sustorog the free kick. After a rather tough play, VT Asycuda's Laurențiu Săvoiu got a free kick in the 78th minute. Liviu Murărașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Sichitiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Harnagea in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Florin Halipa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Victor Harnagea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Sichitiu. The goal made the score 1-3. Radu Răuțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Sustorog's George Sichitiu threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Harnagea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Sustorog's Robert Bociort slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Sichitiu. That made the score 1-4 after 93 minutes of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Florin Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sustorog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Halipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The VT Asycuda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sustorog were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
