Șerban Basarabescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Alexandroae in the 29th minute of the match. Șerban Basarabescu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by VT Asycuda's Nechifor Creangă. But to his dismay, Nechifor Creangă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Liviu Murărașu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Șerban Basarabescu having to make a save. After some careless play in the Juventus-Cj defense, Matei Alexandroae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Basarabescu. The Juventus-Cj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Basarabescu should have stopped the shot. Juventus-Cj were furious when Cosmin Colin was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Juventus-Cj:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VT Asycuda:s goal. The referee gave VT Asycuda a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marin Bogdănescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juventus-Cj's Șerban Basarabescu. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
