Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Matei Alexandroae started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Dragoș in the 10th minute of play forced VT Asycuda's goalkeeper George Sichitiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes VT Asycuda got a freekick which was hit by Marius Vermeşan. When Ionel Dragoș came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sustorog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Dragoș couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, VT Asycuda's George Sichitiu got control of the ball when Florin Halipa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Harnagea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sichitiu having to interfere. George Sichitiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Bociort slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Harnagea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorel Mustățea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Chițac in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Sustorog booed when VT Asycuda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Săvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Bociort during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sustorog had played much better football throughout.
