Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gigi Drăgoi started the match with the kick off. Denis Isărescu charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Isărescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vederea AC's Denis Isărescu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mihail Mincă made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gigi Drăgoi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Stoicănescu in the 7th minute of play forced Vederea AC's goalkeeper Ivan Frumușanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davidestii's Manuel Diculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoş Stoicănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Davidestii's Tiberiu Barbăneagră got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dragoş Stoicănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Frumușanu having to interfere. Dragoş Stoicănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Frumușanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Gigi Drăgoi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mihail Mincă, passed just outside the right post. Ivan Frumușanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Scorţea, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Gigi Drăgoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mihail Mincă to make any attempt to save it. The throw-in from Tiberiu Barbăneagră in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vederea AC's Francisc Pop. 44 minutes into the game, Dragoş Stoicănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Davidestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vederea AC the free kick. Dragoş Stoicănescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Ivan Frumușanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Diculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Petculescu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Drăgoi in the 55th minute of play forced Davidestii's goalkeeper Mihail Mincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Diculescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Frumușanu. That made the score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Gigi Drăgoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Davidestii's Mihail Mincă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiberiu Barbăneagră charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiberiu Barbăneagră the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vederea AC booed when Davidestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Barbăneagră didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Gigi Drăgoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Mincă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gigi Drăgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Gigi Drăgoi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Davidestii's Mihail Mincă. Mihail Mincă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiberiu Barbăneagră kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Vasile Pantilimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Diculescu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Cornel Scorţea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Davidestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vederea AC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Cornel Scorţea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Gigi Drăgoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calistrat Sântimbrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davidestii's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vederea AC had won, even though Davidestii had held more of the ball.
