The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costin Bălășoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Petre Hobjilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Aluchei in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Bălășoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Floricel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. 顾鸿乐 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Craiova's Ştefan Porumboiu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Costin Bălășoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Aluchei, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Petre Hobjilă struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Costin Bălășoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After the first half FC Craiova were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Aluchei was the one to do the kick off. FC Craiova's Mihnea Dorian got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costin Bălășoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Aluchei, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Costin Bălășoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Aluchei in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Razoare's zone, Mihnea Dorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costin Bălășoiu was a little too slow when Robert Aluchei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-4. Costin Bălășoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Aluchei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Bălășoiu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Craiova's Robert Aluchei shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 91 minutes into the game, Albert Tudoran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
