Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucrețiu Purje made the kick off which started today's match. Nichifor Şimandan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Şimandan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerneteaz booed when Cuhea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Şimandan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustinian Roşu's late challenge caught a Cerneteaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iustinian Roşu helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Cuhea got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Roşu. Cornel Creangă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Răzvan in the 8th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mihai Ardelean notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cerneteaz's Sever Mineață. Sever Mineață was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Cuhea's Viorel Tender got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cornel Creangă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Jităreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicolae Răzvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Aristide Jităreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Creangă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Aristide Jităreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerneteaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Jităreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Lucrețiu Purje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aristide Jităreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Mihăiţă Simionică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Cerneteaz a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aristide Răuțchi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuhea's Cornel Creangă. 1-1. Cornel Creangă came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerneteaz's Nicolae Răzvan. But to his dismay, Nicolae Răzvan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nicolae Răzvan made the kick off in the second half. Cerneteaz's Sever Mineață played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Purje in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Aurelian Lovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Purje might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Mineață. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucrețiu Purje ran back to his position shaking his head. Sever Mineață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Ardelean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Petru Culcer fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerneteaz's protests and gave Petru Culcer a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Purje in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sever Mineață prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aristide Jităreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucrețiu Purje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Mineață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Ardelean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Ganea charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nistor Ganea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, one of Cerneteaz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Cuhea. Nichifor Şimandan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sever Mineață. 2-2. The supporters of Cerneteaz booed when Cuhea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Apetroaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
