A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Petre Hobjilă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Frumușanu. Vederea AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petre Hobjilă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10thth minute of the game Gigi Drăgoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Craiova's 顾鸿乐 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Petre Hobjilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Craiova's Albert Tudoran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damian Stătescu, made in the 16th minute of the game. 顾鸿乐 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Drăgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vederea AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Mihnea Dorian scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Frumușanu, making the score, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Gigi Drăgoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurențiu Anghel took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 顾鸿乐. 顾鸿乐 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Calistrat Sântimbrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Frumușanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Dorian in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Vederea AC booed when FC Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Olariu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Craiova's Iulian Olariu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Gigi Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vederea AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Drăgoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Aluchei was the one to do the kick off. Vasile Pantilimon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Craiova's goalkeeper 顾鸿乐, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Frumușanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Porumboiu in the 59th minute of play. Gigi Drăgoi took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 顾鸿乐. 顾鸿乐 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, Robert Aluchei notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Vederea AC's Ivan Frumușanu. Ivan Frumușanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute of the match Vederea AC got a corner. FC Craiova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petruț Siniştean ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Petruț Siniştean almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Craiova's 顾鸿乐 did a great save. Petruț Siniştean hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 顾鸿乐 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Drăgoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ivan Frumușanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Dorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Craiova booed when Vederea AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Isărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vederea AC's Petruț Siniştean got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to FC Craiova getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Iulian Olariu hit a great ball. FC Craiova walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
