Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florin Petculescu kicked off to start the match. Mihail Mincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Purje in the 5th minute of play. Florin Petculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Creangă having to interfere. Petruț Barbăsură kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Mihai Ardelean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Davidestii's zone, Mihai Ardelean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Mincă came out of the goal and Mihai Ardelean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Iustinian Roşu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuhea's protests and gave Iustinian Roşu a yellow card for diving instead. Iustinian Roşu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Cuhea's Cornel Creangă got control of the ball when Dragoş Stoicănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Iacob Apetroaiei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuhea and the Davidestii players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes, Davidestii's Tiberiu Barbăneagră shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornel Creangă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Davidestii reached it. Florin Petculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cornel Creangă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Davidestii got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Scorţea. 38 minutes in the game, Florin Petculescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cornel Creangă having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Florin Petculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornel Creangă was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Cornel Creangă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Petculescu in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucrețiu Purje stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cornel Creangă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Stoicănescu in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Manuel Diculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Davidestii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Diculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dragoş Stoicănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Florin Petculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cornel Creangă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dragoş Stoicănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Petculescu in the 79th minute of play forced Cuhea's goalkeeper Cornel Creangă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Davidestii booed when Cuhea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Apetroaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davidestii's Dragoş Stoicănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cuhea's zone, Florin Petculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Creangă came out of the goal and Florin Petculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Dragoş Stoicănescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Davidestii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 90th minute, Mihai Ardelean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lucrețiu Purje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Tăutu's late challenge caught a Cuhea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Tăutu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Davidestii getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Manuel Tăutu hit a great ball. Davidestii walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
