Spectators: 6105 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 55) FC Razoare's Anton Floricel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Diculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Costin Bălășoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, FC Razoare's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Scorţea came free, but Costin Bălășoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Floricel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. FC Razoare's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Anton Floricel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Mîțu got free with Mihail Mincă in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Dragoş Stoicănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihail Mincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Floricel in the 20th minute of play. Anton Floricel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Mincă having to interfere. Costin Bălășoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Petculescu in the 26th minute of play. Dragoş Stoicănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, FC Razoare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Mărăscu to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Barbăneagră, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Florin Petculescu got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Costin Bălășoiu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 37 played minutes FC Razoare got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Barbosu. 38 minutes into the match, Davidestii's Tiberiu Barbăneagră broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Manuel Diculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Bălășoiu was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 48th minute Florin Petculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Bălășoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florin Petculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Floricel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costin Bălășoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Petculescu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Florin Petculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costin Bălășoiu having to make a save. Dragoş Stoicănescu in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Costin Bălășoiu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Davidestii booed when FC Razoare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Pășcuțoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costin Bălășoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Petculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Razoare's goalkeeper Costin Bălășoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costin Bălășoiu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Florin Petculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Costin Bălășoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Mîțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Mincă having to interfere. FC Razoare's Costin Bălășoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Petculescu in the 97th minute of play.
