After a rather tough play, Homoraciul's Ionuț Boieraș got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Damian Muslea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Vasiloiu in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Eric Trapcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Muslea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ştefan Avramescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, METAXA's Eric Trapcea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ionuț Boieraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Eliodor Ponor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the METAXA and the Homoraciul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, METAXA's Eliodor Ponor got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Eric Trapcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ştefan Avramescu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gigel Buciuman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Homoraciul. Ionuț Boieraș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Buciuman having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Homoraciul's Ştefan Avramescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Buciuman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Ştefan Avramescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but METAXA's Gigel Buciuman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ionuț Boieraș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Homoraciul's Ştefan Avramescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Buciuman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gigel Buciuman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Boieraș in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Ştefan Avramescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Gigel Buciuman managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Homoraciul's Ionuț Boieraș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Marcu Vasiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ştefan Avramescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Buciuman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Boieraș in the 63rd minute of the match. Ştefan Avramescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gigel Buciuman made a huge save. METAXA's Gigel Buciuman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Boieraș in the 74th minute of play. Eric Trapcea struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Damian Muslea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for METAXA. Ştefan Avramescus short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Gigel Buciuman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ionuț Boieraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Avramescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionuț Boieraș in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Buciuman saved METAXA from getting behind. Ionuț Boieraș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gigel Buciuman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, METAXA's Eduard Cantemir got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Niculae Muntian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Buciuman skillfully saved the ball. If Marcu Vasiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homoraciul played a much better game than METAXA and deserved their victory. The METAXA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
