VIITORUL BUZAU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Ghițulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dinu Berceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIITORUL BUZAU's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Berceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Capșuneanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucrețiu Curteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Bistreanu having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in VIITORUL BUZAU fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Teii Petroșani's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Romeo Borcea scored to the left of an out of position Tudor Capșuneanu, making the score, 1-2. Romeo Borcea hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Curteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Bistreanu having to interfere. Lucrețiu Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Ipate in the 35th minute of play forced VIITORUL BUZAU's goalkeeper Călin Bistreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Ipate scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Bistreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. VIITORUL BUZAU's Călin Bistreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Ghițulescu in the 41st minute of play. Tudor Capșuneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Borcea in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Teii Petroșani's Lucrețiu Curteanu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Bistreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Teii Petroșani's Vali Ghițulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matei Ipate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Călin Bistreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Călin Bistreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Ipate in the 58th minute. Matei Ipate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Bistreanu having to interfere. Matei Ipate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Călin Bistreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Matei Ipate sped through VIITORUL BUZAU's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Călin Bistreanu. Matei Ipate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Călin Bistreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Petru Opaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teii Petroșani's supporters rose to their feet, but Petru Opaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Bistreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teii Petroșani's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
