Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Trapcea started the match with the kick off. Anton Boștină scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Buciuman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6thth minute of the game Manuel Ţintă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but METAXA's Gigel Buciuman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Manuel Ţintă sped through METAXA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gigel Buciuman. METAXA's Gigel Buciuman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ţintă in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anton Boștină's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Buciuman was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, METAXA's Sebastian Dragomir got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Anton Boștină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Bilghez AS's Manuel Ţintă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Buciuman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Anton Boștină shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Buciuman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bilghez AS booed when METAXA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Ponor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Buciuman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Buciuman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ţintă in the 34th minute of play. If Manuel Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Anton Boștină got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Anton Boștină made the kick off in the second half. METAXA's Gigel Buciuman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save METAXA from getting a goal against them. Eliodor Ponor's late challenge caught a Bilghez AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Ponor helped the player get up and apologised. Gigel Buciuman made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Manuel Ţintă sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, METAXA's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Boștină came free, but Gigel Buciuman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Manuel Ţintă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilghez AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Ţintă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristide Dragomir came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by METAXA's Eric Trapcea. But to his dismay, Eric Trapcea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Bilghez AS booed when METAXA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Cantemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. METAXA's Gigel Buciuman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Boștină in the 65th minute of play. When Manuel Ţintă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gigel Buciuman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eric Trapcea struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aristide Dragomir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for METAXA. After 85 minutes METAXA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmin Corbea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bilghez AS's Cosmin Corbea to fire away a dangerous shot which Gigel Buciuman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manuel Ţintă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gigel Buciuman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes METAXA got a freekick which was hit by Nae Călimanescu. In the 94th minute of the match Cosmin Corbea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Buciuman skillfully saved the ball. The METAXA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bilghez AS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
