Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zlatarei's Virgil Pătran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Alin Chițes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stioboreni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Chițes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgil Pătran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 9th minute of the match. When Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zlatarei's goalie prevented a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Angheluță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Pătran. Zlatarei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucrețiu Angheluță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Virgil Pătran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Angheluță's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Emil Chifu sped through Zlatarei's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgil Pătran. Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgil Pătran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Paul Danciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Pătran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Zlatarei booed when Stioboreni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Chițes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Pătran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucrețiu Angheluță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Virgil Pătran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Zlatarei players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stioboreni were winning 0-3.

Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, one of Zlatarei:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zlatarei. Irinel Tirulescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Lucrețiu Angheluță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Pătran was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Gabriel Harhoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lucrețiu Angheluță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Pătran having to interfere. Lucrețiu Angheluță took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Pătran. Virgil Pătran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Virgil Pătran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Angheluță's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Emil Chifu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Pătran was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucrețiu Angheluță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Chițes in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Pătran saved Zlatarei from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Lucrețiu Angheluță got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stioboreni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
