In the 6th minute of the match, Romeo Borcea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgil Pătran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Călin Bistreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Gavrilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Borcea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Pătran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Eugen Gavrilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Bistreanu having to interfere. The supporters of Zlatarei booed when VIITORUL BUZAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Constantin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Zlatarei's goalkeeper Virgil Pătran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Berceanu. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgil Pătran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, VIITORUL BUZAU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Drăgan to maneuver through the defense. Zlatarei's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Romeo Borcea 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The supporters of VIITORUL BUZAU booed when Zlatarei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Jerca to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Costel Jerca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Bistreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Eugen Gavrilescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinu Berceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costel Jerca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Gavrilescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Călin Bistreanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eugen Gavrilescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Bistreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugen Gavrilescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Zlatarei's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Berceanu came free, but Virgil Pătran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Eugen Gavrilescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costel Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Călin Bistreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Jerca, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Costel Jerca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Călin Bistreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VIITORUL BUZAU had won after a very even match.
