Nichifor Iorgulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Eugen Gavrilescu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Zlatarei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Gavrilescu couldn't finish the play. If Eugen Gavrilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Gavrilescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Anghelescu saved Perisanii from getting behind. Perisanii's Emil Anghelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Jerca in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Costel Jerca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Anghelescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Perisanii's Eric Feroiu suffered a concussion in the 35th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 35 minutes into the game, Gabriel Harhoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zlatarei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perisanii the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zlatarei's Gabriel Harhoiu got a free kick in the 36th minute. Costel Jerca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Costel Jerca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zlatarei's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Jerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Anghelescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nichifor Iorgulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Pătran having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Jerca to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Costel Jerca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zlatarei's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Jerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 78th play minutes Costel Jerca shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Emil Anghelescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Nichifor Iorgulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Petru Macarie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costel Jerca struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Emil Anghelescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zlatarei. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zlatarei eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
