Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucrețiu Angheluță started the match with the kick off. Lucian Goga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 5th minute of play. Lucian Goga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Angheluță struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Lucian Goga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stioboreni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Goga saved Puini from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Stioboreni's Alin Chițes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Goga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucrețiu Angheluță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Chifu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Goga having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Puini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Măcrineanu to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Goga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Angheluță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucian Goga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucian Goga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Angheluță's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Lucrețiu Angheluță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stioboreni's Lucian Bitang in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puini's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Lucrețiu Angheluță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Goga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Lucrețiu Angheluță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Puini's Lucian Goga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Bitang in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Adrian Bălășoiu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Puini's Lucian Goga. Lucian Goga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucrețiu Angheluță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucian Goga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Emil Chifu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Goga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 55th minute of the match. When Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emil Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lucian Goga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Penciulescu's late challenge caught a Stioboreni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Penciulescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Traian Penciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Puini's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Angheluță came free, but Lucian Goga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Stioboreni got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Angheluță. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Măcrineanu during the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Stioboreni's Lucrețiu Angheluță dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 84th minute of play forced Puini's goalkeeper Lucian Goga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Ecobescu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Goga saved Puini from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Angheluță in the 91st minute of play forced Puini's goalkeeper Lucian Goga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Puini fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stioboreni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
